Watched season 3 episode 14 of Arrow ‘The Return’ and damn I am so pumped up. Everyone knows that we have quite literally despised the last three episodes of arrow but ‘The Return’ reminded me why this is without a doubt one of our favorite shows. Almost everything was amazing. One of my main complaints of season 3 thus far has been the flashbacks and how they were redundant and were not nearly as interesting as what was happening in present day Starling. But this was not only an a very relevant flashback story, in that it was the contrast of what was happening in present day, in that flashback Olie is in Starling and getting darker while present Ollie is on the island and moving further away from the darkness. Moreover, the fact that we finally saw the message Oliver’s dad left for him and how it played into his journey to becoming a hero, blew me away. As if the episode wasn’t awesome enough, Slade ‘motherfucking’ Wilson people was back and still strikes fear into our hearts. The dialogue between him and Oliver kept us on our toes and Manu Bennett just reminded us why in our opinion, he is the best villain the show has ever had. Furthermore, Oliver and Thea were one of my favorite things in the episode. Now that she finally knows, it has elevated their relationship to such an entertaining way that I can honestly say, Thea has become one of the best characters on the show. Overall, this gives me so much hype for what else is in store for the rest of the season to that I think season 3 might be the best, instead of the worst season of arrow
